About Me
IIf you’re reading this, you might be thinking about starting therapy and have some of these questions:
“Why do I feel, think and act the way I do?”
“How can I get unstuck with this difficult life problem?”
“Could I possibly be neurodivergent?”
My goal as your therapist is to help you explore any of the above and more, so we can work together to improve your well-being and quality of life.
I offer individual therapy sessions for adolescents aged 12 and above, as well as adults. My approach involves helping you to examine your core beliefs and developing practical coping mechanisms. I aim to create a nurturing and secure environment where you can freely express yourself and progress towards personal growth.
I have a particular passion for supporting neurodivergent clients, including Autistic clients and ADHD’ers, as well as supporting members of the LGBTQIA+ community. All are welcome.
I can assist you with:
-
Whether you're seeking a space to explore the possibility of being neurodivergent or are already formally or self-diagnosed, I am here to support you in discovering your identity, strengths, and challenges.
Your differences are not deficits and we can work together to help improve your well-being - all while keeping your neurotype in mind.
This work may include addressing sensory overload, finding ways to help executive functioning and more.

At Rhapsody, all intrusive thoughts and compulsions are treated with understanding and acceptance, no matter how unusual they may seem to you.
Therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) can help you confront and manage your intrusive thoughts and compulsions while reducing the power of OCD rituals.
-
Rhapsody Psychology welcomes gender diverse clients who may be searching for a safe space to explore the challenges they face.
Whether you are dealing with societal pressures, gender dysphoria, personal identity questions, or seeking assistance in managing mental health concerns related to gender diversity, I am committed to offering compassionate, tailored care.
-
When phobias get in the way of life, gentle Exposure Therapy, at a pace that is tailored to you, will be your best friend.
I specialize in addressing a range of phobias including, but not limited to, fear of flying, spiders, and needles.

Panic attacks can be debilitating and exhausting.
Figuring out your panic triggers is step number one in understanding how to manage and overcome these moments of high distress.
If you've ever called yourself an "overthinker", therapy can help you work out ways to give you a moment's rest.
-
While I don't currently see couples, individual therapy can help with setting boundaries, navigating difficult relationships, and learning new ways to resolve conflict.
All of the above can help develop relationships of all kinds that feel healthy and fulfilling.
-
To be able to work out patterns related to your depression, it's helpful to explore your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.
We can work together to help you find hope, regain a sense of agency, and gradually reclaim a fulfilling life despite the challenges of depression.

An unhealthy work environment can knock anyone's confidence.
Building back up from that can take time but we can address and process the impact of workplace bullying to develop coping strategies and explore ways to rebuild your professional confidence.
